The sculpture was commissioned by architect Lincoln Miles and his partner artist Lisa Traxler. Their house, “Tane” incorporates an earlier bungalow into a stunning two storey timber clad house in woodland bordering the Solent. The sculpture, which is made of charred sycamore and beech wood, stands on a pool of water outside the front entrance. The building of the house was featured on Channel 4’s “Grand Designs” programme. |
